It sucks, we know but the FDA is a banning the sale of all flavored vape pods effective February 1st, 2020. We understand that they may have good intentions, but their plan will more than likely not do what it is meant to do (more on that some other time.) At Smoke Tokz smoke and vape shop, we’ve helped thousands of former smokers kick the habit (including the guy writing this) with the help of vaping and save money while they do it. However, vaping does contain nicotine which is an addictive substance so there are risks when switching from cigarettes to vapes.
Flavored Vape Pods and Vape Shops Near Overland Park, Leawood and Prairie Village, KS
Here’s what we know about the flavored vape pod ban so far: While we’re still able to sell flavored vape pods for vaping devices like JUUL, Phix and other pod style vaporizers, we will not be restocking our inventory because, after January 31st, 2020, we won’t be able to sell them anymore. However, we do still have quite a few in stock which means you might want to stop by soon if you plan on stocking up. Smoke Tokz smoke and vape shop will be able to continue to sell tobacco and menthol flavored pods and we plan on continuing to stock them assuming our customers still want them. We’re fairly certain that disposable flavored pods WILL NOT be part of the FDA’s ban for now but we will continue to monitor the situation and let you know if anything changes. We’ve been asked quite a bit about flavored vape juice and e-liquids being part of the ban and we know for a fact that they are not.
The FDA is not including flavored vape liquids for what they call “open tanks” vaping devices but we simply call them mods. That means that if you really like flavored pod vaping then you might want to come by our smoke and vape shop and let our staff teach you about mods because that may be your only option once the ban takes effect.
